Made for Dani's Basement Jam #2.

Some day, humanity will have cured most diseases - but it may be much later when we find a cure for death of old age. This game's story explores a dystopian possibility of what may happen in the time in between.

When your cursor is visible, you can press the Esc key to mute/unmute the game.

If you would like to skip any cutscene, you can hold down the spacebar to bring up an option to skip.

All music and assets are self-made. The OST is available on my Soundcloud which I've linked to in my profile.

this game gave me clinical depression.... 5/5

I can't stop failing..

because the sfx and visuals were so satisfying! (totally not struggling at level 4)

I actually really like the music, the gameplay is pretty good and strategic, my only problem is the art. Even though it's minimalism, it isn't exactly good minimalism.

Can you elaborate on the art? Or is it more of an intuitive thing that's difficult to explain

I can explain a little. The colors kind of clash, or just don't really look like they fit together. To make it look more futuristic, the walls could have been a bright white, and the gameplay area could be the same texture, but greyed out. The outlines can either stay or go, that would look good either way.

Even though it ties in to the story a little, I feel like the pixel person clashed with the rest of the game, and he should've been an abstract shape or a drawing.

Okay 2#.

Art: 6/10 - I mean just look at it. The only art you've made was for the human but not for clocks.

Sound: 7/10 - The start of OST happened like 5 secs in as soon I started the game and the switch between music sounds weird.

Gameplay: 6/10 - The music is so weird, the first one is the best music out of the rest musics but the way it starts up is so weird (no offense, the music just scared me lmao). Got kinda stuck at 5 because of how fast are the large blades, I don't know if this is suppose to be a game similiar to world hardest game but this is actual world impossiblest game :)

Overall rating: 6.3/10 (Basically you tried)

Sorry about the music, it usually works fine in the editor but it's quite unpredictable in the build.

As for the art, I personally don't think it makes sense to judge a game with an art style as simple as mine on the quality of its art. Instead, I think it should be judged on how well it fits the other aspects of the game, such as the music and the gameplay.

Nonetheless, I'm thankful for the feedback, and I'll try to make sure that the music works consistently in my next project.

its kinda remindas me of the world hardest game
